My home network is currently supplied through an Apple Airport Extreme which receives it's internet connection from the modem supplied free from TalkTalk.
Tomorrow my internet connection will switch to BT and I have received the free BT Home Hub 5.
My question is whether there is any need to keep the Apple Airport Extreme, or whether I should just run my home network off the BT Home Hub 5?
The BT Home Hub 5 offers 802.11ac Wifi which I believe equals the standard of the Apple Airport Extreme. So is there any benefit of passing the internet connection onto the Apple Airport Extreme to supply the wifi network?
