I head my free trial of Apple Arcade and then paid a month which expired 16 December. I’ve still got about half a dozen games Installed and I was very surprised today that they all still work. Is that the way it’s supposed to be ? So I could have downloaded every game during the free trial and kept them forever ?

I thought that wouldn't be possible either. Can't find the answer either but I suppose they might soon no longer work. I don't know how the individual apps verify when you open an app if you still have a subscription.
Apple announced a couple of months ago that subscriptions would not terminate with immediate effect, but that a grace period would apply.
