Apple is quite aggressive with its service business isn't it? There was even one article written about it on iDownloadBlog.com. I find them nagging me with Free Apple Arcade offer pathetic, something I would expect with Samsung, Huawei or similar.

I understand them informing me first time, but I got three notification, one mail and two red badges, one in Settings and one in App Store. It is so unlike Apple. Is this sign of things to come?

Did anyone experience same thing?

never mind that, how you get 3 months free? all I ever got was a a month.
Dunno, I think that was because of iPhone 12 mini. Apple spam started with activation of that new iPhone. Probably some iPhone 12 promo offer.

Bit annoying but not the end of the world.
Usually, the problem is not where we look, it is somewhere else. Apple is slowly doing more and more things that they wouldn't even think of doing before.

I was coming from a different perspective. I saw this more as a sign of a thing to come. I hope I'm wrong here.

Other than in the App Store where some stuff is just advertised and an offer of a trial of Apple one when you head to the subscription section of settings on iOS, I have non of this. I would like 3 month free trials though!

SPAM is still SPAM.
I received such SPAM recently.
I never opted in. (makes it spam)
I have no desire to use the thing and never expressed any interest (SPAM)
So, it is SPAM.

Please send your version of the following to all SPAMMERs (yep all).

Save the planet.
Each undesired (by the recipient) email costs power in many datacenters. Data centers account for most of the electrical power consumed on the planet. Reduce the useless unwanted rubbish pushed through them and your carbon footprint is reduced.

I receive an email with the 3 months free apple arcade today, and while i was screen-shotting to report to apple, i accidentally misclicked and opened the link, what do i do? I already immediately closed the tab and ran a scan with antivirus.

If it came from Apple then you are fine. It is bad thing to do because all of spam is bad but Apple won’t do anything to your device. They just want your money.

@OP.. I think I only got 1 or 2 notices, so it wasn't that bad

When did you guys buy your Apple stuff (and what stuff for that matter)? My 9th gen iPad purchase back in Nov. 2021 came with 3 months of AA and ATV+, but AFAIK, it's a recent thing. Sometime prior to that, 1 month trials were standard.
