Hi, Can anyone help me on this?

I sent my iPhone 7 plus for a battery replacement and my phone display is completely fine. But suddenly I receive a call from the technician saying that my phone display won't lights up or even light up will have lines across my phone display.

So I wonder if my phone ended up to change a display, the cost will be paid by me or Apple? Because my phone was already out of warranty.

Apple promises to replace a new phone for me after they check all parts of my phone are genuine/original. Thanks for helping guys.
