Greetings All,

I'm new to the forum and just opened my iPad.

My wife told md she bought me an iPad on international launch day, but i opened it a few days ago as she kept it for my birthday.

But i am having battery problems.

So I'm wondering if apple have any way of telling how many cycles it has gone through, or how long it has been activated, seeing as it is a month old, activated in store on launch day, but use only started yesterday.

Thanks.

Sorry for being impatient guys,

But does anyone have any info on this?

There is no official diagnostic tool that one can use by themselves.

The only real way to test out of your battery and see if there are no issues with it is to take it to the apple store.

They will hook up your ipad to their system and it'll run a diagnostic check to see if there are any issues with your battery.

I suggest making an appt when your battery is 20% or lower. This way you can see how much usage/standby time your ipad has gotten since the last full charge.
