Anyone know how common these things are posted on eBay? I just saw this for the first time and want one really bad.

I think a simple ebay search would answer your question.

How would doing a simple eBay search answer my question? I guess I'm missing the "Show previous Apple brass belt buckle auctions" checkbox.

It says from 1978. Apple had no more than a handful of employees in 1978, I'm thinking pretty rare if its genuine.

It was sold in the Apple Gift Catalog

This is why the picture was referring to Woz.

Bronze belt buckle

Here's an old belt buckle too. The coolest thing about it is the back. It has stamped on the back of it a six line BASIC program. The serial number is also in hex. Anybody else have one of these?

P.S. This one isn't for sale

Just for the record, there is an option for previous auctions in the advanced search menu. :)

Only for recently ended auctions....Which doesn't really help when the item isn't posted often.

Not often enough.

They do show up on eBay now and again. But my timing seems to suck. Last one I saw went for over $100 US. So they are not cheap.

I won one of these last sat on ebay!

I saw this posting years ago. And last year i starting actively looking for it on ebay.

1 and 2 months year later, it finally came up on ebay!

I ended up winning the auction for $76!

The next day, another one showed up on ebay! that went for $108.

It was in about the same condition as the one i won so i didn't bid on it.

For anyone that has a pristine version of it please let me know. I'll buy it from you. lkwan78@gmail.com

One to wear and one to put in my safe.

Gotta love the late 70's when these big buckles were in style , here is me circa 1978 (10th grade) on family out west trip, wearing one of many big belt buckles.
I still have all of them, sadly none are that cool Apple one you posted.
