Hi,

my mac studio updated to the latest 12.6 last night.

Now my keyboard (the latest apple keyboard with fingerprint log in) wont work properly, even typing this, i have already had to switch the keyboard off and on twice.

The fingerprint log in doesn't work at all, trying to load a fingerprint doesnt work either, as i tried adding another finger.

The keyboard and fingers are clean.

The most irritating is this loss of bluetooth every few seconds, yet my track pad works fine ?

i was working till late, and everything was 100% until i updated.

is anyone else experiencing issues atm in this way?

Directly after installing 12.6 on my Studio, I had to plug both the trackpad and keyboard in for them to be initially recognised. But I’ve rebooted since then and they’re both working perfectly through Bluetooth again. No disconnections, TouchID is working correctly.
It may be a silly question but have you tried rebooting again?

I would recommend that you try powering the Mac Studio off, waiting a few seconds, and then powering it back up. Sometimes just a restart doesn't correct all issues.

Anyone noticed that the cursor only moves when you first press the trackpad, or just me? Talking about when booting up and arriving at the password screen.

That's nothing to do with the Mac Studio, my iMac does exactly the same.

If the trackpad loses its Bluetooth connection, it turns itself off or goes into a really low power state, so you have to click it to wake it back up. You must not have noticed this before, but that’s how they have always worked. The Magic Mouse does this too.

I had a few bluetooth issues with my 1st gen trackpad (the one with the AA batteries) after 12.6 but they cleared up after about 30 seconds.
