iCloud Apple Books using 1.9GB

When I look at my iCloud storage it says Books is using 1.9GB....but according to Books I am using nothing. I have no books. When I try to clear the storage in iCloud I get "An error occurred while trying to load a detailed view. Try again later."

Does anyone know how I can Clear the storage it says Books is using?

Just a thought have you tried adding a book? will it let you? Did storage change? Then can you delete it.

This seems to have fixed it, after adding a PDF i suddenly saw a bunch of files in various sizes named as "encrypted" so not sure what they were but was able to remove them all. Strange.
