Haven’t heard any rumblings recently, but the last rumors suggested we *might* see these this fall. Really interested in what these will sound like— I’ve fallen in love with the HomePods, and I think Apple has an opportunity to capture more SQ conscious buyers (they already have some solid noise cancelling tech in the Beats line, don’t they?)

Question is— if they position these above Beats, how high do you think the price will be? Currently, Beats max out at $400, so these could be even more.

No there’s not any concrete information. There’s been talk in the rumor mill over the last couple years that Apple is working on something, but it’s gone quite.

Hmm... yeah there hasn't really been any movement (at least, no rumors lately to suggest movement). They did just release some updated Beats (Solo Pro, right?) but those are on-ear, and Beats branded.

This is what I want more than Airpods Pro-- I prefer over-ear headphones most of the time that I listen to headphones. I'm so pleased with the Homepod SQ that I'm hopeful Apple has something in the cards for this category with an H1 chip, etc.

Maybe this is a 2020 product?

But they’re not Apple branded, which was the point of the question.
Beats is an Apple brand. The Solo Pro is the first set of Beats which was clearly calibrated to Apple standards, as they sound significantly better than anything Beats has put out so far.

I don't see the point of Apple branded headphones. Beats are wildly popular and they're gaining credibility for sound quality.
