I have a pocket pc with blue tooth and I have the Apple pro keyboard, which is also blue tooth.
How come the BT keyboard does not appear to be discoverable by my other BT device?
Has anyone tried this?

I think the keyboard is only discoverable for the first little while after turning it on. Try turning it off, back on and immediately search for it...

That did work, but it asks for a passkey and unfortunately, it appears I cannot get one assigned because it's not a "configurable" device under BT Preferences.

Try the standard ones: 1234 etc.

That would be great, but unfortunately, the pairing process on the Pocket PC running WM5 is different than Win Xp. The difference is you have no choice as far as I can tell to ask it not to require a passkey or pin. I'm going to try 1234 etc as you also suggested. I think I did try that, but I could be wrong. It wouldn't hurt to try really.
The good news is WM5 (windows mobile 5) will see the keyboard, but it can't pair without the passkey. I'm certain this is a security feature because as you know, if someone comes along with another BT device they ultimately could attempt to control mine.
