Well I just got to school and unpacked. Hooked up everything, but the keyboard is being a bit wonky with my MacBook. Last year with my 12'' PowerBook it was fine but now its being stupid.

Basically what is going on is that the number pad has become a directional pad. 8,2, 4, and 6 has become up, down, left, and right. 7,9, 1, and 3 has become left up, right up, left down, and right down. 0 is completely useless and 5 and the decimal point has become the equivalent of left click.

What is more troublesome is that when you press the decimal point or 5, it locks it so to speak. If I press it down once, it locks and I cant use my left click on my mouse. I have to press it down once more to release it so to speak. It is very weird.

All the other keys around it work fine, the numbers are just messed up. I have looked throughout the preference pain in and have found NOTHING to fix this problem. I have also tried reconnection the device several times, and done a complete setup for the keyboard and still it is acting dumb.

If anyone knows what the hell to do, please help me out.
