Hi all,

I hope this is the right place to post this thread. If not, please let me know!

Anyway, I go to school in the Midwest, and was just tapped for an interview next week to be a campus rep! The interview is in person, but outside of that, I am not too sure what to expect.

I know that if this was an Apple store interview, some people would suggest going the jeans/chinos and button down shirt route, but in this case I don't know what to do.

Any advice on how to dress for this, or any other general comments?

Business casual? (Slacks, not jeans. Simple short sleeved dress shirts (unless you've covered your arms with hideous tattoos). Not a three-piece suit.) Wear what your dean wears.

Interestingly, I have heard from others that jeans are an OK choice, but only when it comes to Apple. Obviously, they may be wrong, and I was leaning toward slacks anyway!

A nice Polo shirt seems OK.

An image search for "apple store employees" shows a lot of jeans (even some faded) and even shorts - but that may be an attempt to be "hip".

Just be yourself, knowing that it's a job interview. You know Apple's style so unless you over do it, you're going to be ok.
They will look at your skills and personality over how you dress (as long as it's not out there).
