Seems a little early for Apple's Back to School Promo, but if you buy a Mac (excluding Mac Pro) or an iPar Air/ iPad Pro, you can get a free set of AirPods. Not too shabby. Doesn't seem to be anything for the iPad Mini or regular iPad though.

I'm almost positive it isn't limited to Canada either. I was just surprised to find it so early. It's usually later in the summer when they have the Back to School promo...

Thanks for posting this as I am still in my return window from Costco so I ordered the one through apple and got the discount plus I paid the $110.00 to get the AirPod Pro instead of the regular Airpods, plus 20% off AppleCare.

Great to hear. I'm still trying to figure out which one to get. I'm hesitant about the AirPods as the regular EarPods always fall out.

That's why I chose the AirPod Pro, my sister just got them she said they are really good and they don't fall out even when running, she said it's like a suction that keeps them in.

Hmm, worth considering. Now do I get the iPad Air, or the base model Pro? Leaning toward the pro as it’s not a crazy jump in price...

I went with the 11" iPad Pro, I am coming from the 10.5 pro which I passed onto my daughter.

Yeah, I think I'll do the same. I'm coming from an iPad Mini 3. Problem is, all our current iPads are either iPad Airs (first gen) or the Mini 3, which are all the same chipset. So not really an upgrade for anyone.

I think it's a good choice and nice to have the offer for AirPods and the discount in Canada.

I was jumping between this or the previous generation iPad clearance at BestBuy. Since I don't really need 1TB of storage, the Apple education deal is more appealing.

Well even though shipping times stayed long, all of a sudden all the local Apple stores in LA had stock again, so I was able to buy with same day pickup .
