I added my bank account to Apple Cash using the Routing Number and Account Number from the front of one of my checks. It added without any issues (although I've never used it).

When selecting the Add Bank Account option for my Apple Card it asks me if I'd like to use the same account I use for Apple Cash. When I select "OK" I get the following error: "Account Services Unavailable. Apple Pay services are currently unavailable. Please try again later."

Has anyone seen this error or know why it is happening?

Not sure if this will help--but a couple ideas on this Apple Support thread--

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8195363

Also, I learned something on Routing Numbers on my checks at last Income Tax time. I used my Routing Number on my check for my refund and it got sent to wrong bank branch. I bank with Fifth Third Dayton Ohio and they tried to send it to the Cincinnati main headquarters. They could not for some reason, saying it was incorrect routing number and they sent me a check.

I then looked up my Routing Number listed on my banks website for my checking account and it was different than what was on my check. I will be using that website routing number for tax returns and making payments from my checking account from now on. Doubt that is your issue, just FYI. Still confusing to me.

The best way is to get the bank routing and account number from the bank website when viewing your checking/saving account detailed information. I wouldn’t use the information on the check unless it’s the most recent one after you ordered them.

or get the direct deposit form from the bank.
