I keep seeing the commercial, so I decided to see what it’s all about. This APR is crazy and I don’t see me using the card.

Nice that you can decline. Never remember the option for other cards, and sometimes I wished there was.

Doesn’t make sense to decline after your credit has already been run for it. Might as well keep and don’t use.

Pay it off every month and the APR number is meaningless.
Yes this or use for 0% offers and pay it off in time. That is a stupid APR for a MC though. I could see that kind of APR or worse for store cards.

Yes especially a limit with 0 balance can only help your credit utilization %.

The rate is a reflection of ones credit history, and amount of open/used credit. Your conclusions may vary :)

I use mine mainly at fast food restaurants and grocery store, keeping balance small enough to pay off each month. Did buy my $800 AW5 and got my 3% cash back. Still paid it off.

The advertised APR range for the Apple Card is several points lower than the vast majority of cards you see out there. Plus doesn’t it have no late fees and less fees than most cards?

My impression of the card was that what it’s best for is people who carry a balance. Because of the lower APR and less fees.

Well, initially that was all it was good for. Since release they’ve added the 0% offers, If you have a good reason for financing an Apple product...

It’s really a very niche card. I bet more people get it for the Apple branding rather than because it’s the best card for them.

If you worry about the APR on a credit card, you are doing it wrong. That number is meaningless as long as you pay off your monthly balance, which you should be doing.
