Hi,

I’m getting these emails from Apple about a “billing problem”.

“The charge for your subscription was declined by your payment method. To avoid losing access to your service, update your payment method.”

So I try to add my Apple Card again and it says “There was a problem when trying to add this card. Try again.”

I also can’t manually enter the card number, it’ll just tell me that “This payment method has already been added to your account.” Even though I just removed it because it wasn’t working.

So I’m stuck. Does anyone else have that problem? It used to work fine for years and suddenly Apple won’t accept Apple Card anymore.

On a side note, a couple of weeks ago I had to reset my iPhone because it was in a boot loop, but I added the Apple Card again and it shows up in the wallet.

What did Apple say when you contacted them?

Apple support resolved it. It was related to some other issue I had where someone who used to be in the family still used my Apple Card and instead of only blocking them from doing that, they blocked my Apple Card from paying for apple subscriptions entirely…

It’s just so annoying that the error messages never tell you what the actual issue is.
