Has anyone else had this issue? My physical card was delivered yesterday, but I never got a shipping notice and the app still says the card has been "ordered" and I will be notified when it's shipped.

The problem is I cannot activate the card, there is no "activate" button and my phone is not reading the NFC chip. Probably because the app still thinks the card has not been shipped.

I tried chatting with Apple support but once they saw I was on iOS 13 beta all they said was that the AC was not compatible iOS13 and I would have to uninstall the beta. No thanks.

You will not get a shipped notification but will get a notification from the Wallet app when your card will be delivered on that day. If you’re a member of UPS or FedEx, you would’ve received a shipping notification from them as soon as the label was created.

iOS 13 is compatible with the Apple Card since I was able to activate mines on my Max. The NFC chip is right below the card, wake your device and hold it close to it like Apple Pay at checkout. You may be able to manually activate it inside the Wallet app. I remembered there was an “Activate” option when I was browsing through it while waiting for the card.

I did get a notice from UPS, but nothing from Apple and nothing in Wallet. I have tried holding the phone on top of the package and got nothing. There is no activation button either, so for me I think it's definitely something on Apple's end.

UPDATE well this is annoying. Just got off the phone with AC Support, the only thing they could do was cancel the brand new card I received and have me order another one. The rep did say that he "expedited" the order so hopefully it will arrive sooner. I know it's a new roll-out and there will be glitches but this is frustrating.

At least you’ll have what can be considered a collectible in a few decades if you kept the card in its packaging stored somewhere safe.

I think they're managing this about as horribly as the first iPhone. I got the invite for the "select few" in early August. Signed up immediately and ordered the physical card. I never received an email stating that my card was ordered, but it showed in the app. Fast forward 2 weeks later and I spoke with Apple Card support (read Goldman Sachs). They cancelled the original order and ordered a new card. Still haven't received that card and it hasn't been shipped yet.

"Apple Card is in high demand...." #rolleyes

Well, got the new card Monday and had no problems activating it. All good!
