Do you have Apple Cash Setup? If not, the cash back goes directly to paying back the balance I believe.

I have about 600 balance in the card since the weekend. No cash back since Monday. Am i not understanding the daily cash back ? Is this normal?
Have all your charges cleared, or are they still pending? Pending charges don't get cash back.

Ok guess i am an idiot but at least i have friends who also thought the same i did. You do not get cash back “daily” on these purchases . that’s not what the daily means. it only means that you get the cash back right away rather than waiting. at least that is what goldman just explained. if the that’s the case i do feel like an idiot but i feel that would not list the transaction as “2% daily cash back” because i fell it implies you get that 2% cash back every day.

So you thought you got cash back on the balance rather than the spend?

I'm not sure I understand what GS told you - or maybe I'm just very confused (not the first time).

On my AppleCard, I get 2% (1% if I used the physical card) credited to my AppleCash card the very day that any charge clears (hence my earlier question). Is this not happening for you?

I believe the gist of it is that he believed he would get cashback on the balance of his credit card - not on purchases. for example, whatever purchase it was that gave you $5.21... you'd get $5.21 every day until it was paid back.
