After making a payment on the Apple Card using Apple Cash, the Apple Cash balance is reduced, but the Apple Card doesn't show the payment. While chatting with support, the support specialist made this statement:
After a recent app update we are aware of issues preventing customers from seeing their recent payments made. We are working on a resolution. Please check your app again later. this should be resolved shortly.
Update: The payment was reflected 52 minutes after it was made. Previous payments from Apple Cash were reflected immediately.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

They are having issues with balances. The wait on the phone is over an hour now. I’m seeing a balance due on the statement but there shouldn’t be one. No transactions are listed.

I pay from my checking account and this is the first time that it took a few hours for the deduction from my checking account and the credit on the Apple Card go through. But it did eventually go through.

They are having major issues today. Went to use Apple Pay at store and card got declined. Card in wallet app says I have $0 available, even though I am $12,000 under my limit. GS support basically said they were aware of the issue and were working on it. 3 hours later, still not resolved. What a pain in the ass. I pay for everything with my card and don't have cash on me. Had to stop running my errands for the day.

Yeah, my available credit is also screwed up. How can a simple math calculation get so screwed up? Apple, time to have a meeting at the river with those numnutz.

I had the same issue today. I made a payment that was not reflected in the app. It continued to say “Pay More.” I assumed that the payment failed to go through. Silly me.

The person via chat blamed it on “system maintenance and updates.” And, unfortunately, they could not cancel the duplicated charge.

Instead, I have to contact them once the charge posts to my bank account, at which point they will file a payment dispute. Even then, the money won’t be returned for 3-5 business days.

Ugh.

Now my available balance isn't reflecting a payment that was completed a week ago, although it does reflect another payment completed 3 days ago. They definitely have some problems with the app.

I'm experiencing a problem with my balance. I made a purchase at Target via their app. The original pending charge was $3.75 more than the final cleared charge. That purchase in Wallet shows the correct lower amount but my balance still reflects the original pending amount and a result my balance is $3.75 higher than it should be.
