Geez, I've dealt with some sucky support services, but Apple Card's Goldman Sachs support is incredibly poor. I had an issue where I got scammed, and they have been no help whatsoever. I'm experiencing wait times of 30 minutes or more, and never make any progress is getting the problem addressed. I thought having the Apple Card was cool because it was different (it's not like I needed another credit card lol), but I think Apple's selection of GS, and allowing them to offer such horrible support is a stain on Apple's CS reputation. Sheesh.

I finally was able to talk to an actual person, and had a great experience! This was just about the opposite of my earlier contacts with the. Dispute ended in my favor, great Apple-style customer service. Wait times were long, but once I was able to have them call me back, support was first class.

It was horrible. Then it got better--if I hadn't followed up (and been on hold forever) it would have stayed horrible.

Typical with many of these companies unfortunately. Long wait times. I've lost many hours with Verizon. Most likely they don't have the ratio of staff to call-ins. Happy that you got the problem resolved and I do feel your pain!

Sometimes the hold times on calls are so long that online chats are the only viable option.

Terrible support and some of the other inconveniences are causing me to limit the use of this card. Apple came up with this as a way to keep people tied to Apple. IMHO, it's is putting a terrible face on an otherwise fine product.

I believe the long wait time might not have been the norm but rather an exception; at that time, they were an likely still are operating with more limited staff due to the covid-19 crisis. I’m suprise neither you nor anyone else in this thread took that into account.

If you want me to go back to the card introduction last fall and continuing issues since, I’ll be happy to. COVID-19 had nothing to do with anything till Feb/Mar or so of this year, including wait times. Similar Customer Service complaints have been well publicized for many months.

I decided to try to use the Apple Card as my sole credit card, I do have one with my credit union for backup.

Last week it was declined on a Saturday night and it took 30 mins to get resolution to be able to use it.

Just now it was declined for something else and their first response is that it must be a network issue and to try a different method of payment.

My using it as my sole card experiment is going to be finished with the next issue.
