It is extremely easy to keep track of what, where & when you purchased whatever. It shows imediatly yer bonus. It also has a neat gauge to show how much interest ya would owe based on what ya wanna pay towards yer bill...It's so easy to make yer payment. No more having to sit at a computer and accessing an account to make a payment. I'm just touching the surface but I stopped using my higher % cashback Amerian Express Card because it's so easy... You also have a full calendar month before yer bill is past-due. IMO, Apple got it right!
Isn’t this a question you should’ve asked BEFORE you signed up for the card. 🧐Just signed up for the Apple Card. Anyone have one what are the pros and cons? They gave me $3800 which is not bad.
How can I pay my bill without a computer? Does it use apple pay to deduct from my debit card also there? Yeah it looks like the bank is very lenient in their card issuing policies. I have allot of CC debt on other cards which when I get the apple card will be put in a drawer and not to be used. I only want to use the Apple card for purchases.
rugmank, answered it for ya...
You can load multi Bank Accounts right from the app.
Reward point$ are also easily applied if you want it towards yer payment. American Express was a pain to use/apply accumulated Reward$.
Downside>Only allowed one card.
you pay with the iPhone. just add your bank account to Apple Card. made my first payment a couple of days ago for August. Fast and easy. just tap on the 3 dots on top right of screen when you open AC. then go down to Bank Accounts.
it is also fun to use. but at 70 I am amused easily lol
not that i care, but most cashiers that see the card have positive comments. non negative. and they seem familiar with the card. so use must be very high already.
I don't understand why folks would get a card that's cool which has relatively crappy rewards instead of getting much better cards that are less cool but earn points/cash back at double or triple the rate.
Talk about iSheep (and I'm a fairly loyal Apple apologist).
I’m a fan of kiss, but there’s little complicated about getting 5% cash back from other cards.Easy—>KISS!
“Cool” + “instant gratification” is a tough combo to beat for the average consumer, no doubt.5% from my Amazon card is easy but remember the points don't show till a month later after the billing cycle ends.
Apple Card has cash back immediately.
Yeah, these days when everyone wants it now / today.“Cool” + “instant gratification” is a tough combo to beat for the average consumer, no doubt.
Yup! Now when shipping is more than 3 days it takes “foreeeeeeeeeeveeeeeeeeeeer!”Yeah, these days when everyone wants it now / today.
Instant gratification seems to be the expected norm with this new generation.
Thinking back over the years, I have to say coming from mail order via snail mail with a check was the norm for goods ordered from a catalog...

Interesting because as I get older, I prefer them on the greener side vs. the overly sweet side.It is for some of us in the "Older Generation" too. As the years go by I find I am no longer interested in buying green bananas,
My only real complaint is it sure would be nice to get a zero interest offer at least on large Apple purchases for 6-12 months - that would be a real incentive! If Barclay can offer 18 months interest-free through Apple, why not the Apple "flagship" Card? I just got a $10,000 limit on my Apple Card, but I won't be using it for my upcoming Mac Pro purchase, etc. because I can get 12 months interest free on my B&H Card or 6 months interest-free via PayPal, etc. It also seems like they would maybe offer at least a 50% discount on AppleCare+ - I have purchased lots of AppleCare policies in the past and never used a single one (so not like they would probably lose money on people like me).
All the other card features and iPhone integration look great, but if I buy a new Mac Pro with it, I have to pay 100% off before the end of the month to see the 3% cash back advantage! Since I don't earn $10K/month after expenses, I probably will not be using it to buy any of my upcoming large Apple purchases - seems strange that it is mostly useful for non-major-Apple purchases unless you could pay cash at time of purchase? It see myself using it for almost everything non-Apple related!
Good idea to get another one then!Good point. I got a 3800 limit which is very good considering I have a lot of CC debt on other cards.
