i might need to take my mac to get a new battery or get it fixed and im wondering what do i need to take with me . i have the apple care document but i do not have my invoice since my dad bought it for me in the states and i live in ecuador

In theory, once it's bought you're in the system so you shouldn't need anything.

I'd bring the document with you, and if needed, they can match it with your macbook's serial number.

unless your battery was defective. i dont think they will care... if its two years old and doesnt hold the same charge thats expected
