Probably a easy question BUT

recently my 1st generation iphone ended its 1 year warranty and i had no clue i could have a replacement or ish.

but obviously not now.

my question is if i were to purchase the 70 or so care plan then it would extend my warranty to two years and i could potentially walk into a apple store and get a replacement or repair.
I'm not sure if this works either because i do they even have replacements for the original iphone and do they even do repairs there?

also.
my problems with the phone is the vibrator does not work my speakers are blown also i cannot get service even after a reset of the network settings and a restore of the phone.
also there is a crack in the screen but that isn't much of problem to me at the moment.

As far as I'm aware, Apple no longer offer the Apple Care Protection Plan for the iPhone 2G. Besides, all I have ever heard about the ACPP's is that it is not worth buying at all.

You could still have them take a look at it, the worst they can say is they no longer or don't offer a replacement or repairs service.

Im not entirely sure about this, so don't hold me to it. :)
