This is probably as good a place as any. Anything in particular that you're curious about?

I've become certified but the training material was provided to me by my company through Apple (we're an AASP or better), then I had to pay for the tests out of pocket with reimbursement from the company.

Thread moved to the Apple inc and Tech forum, as this is the best place for such discussions.

I wanted to become an Apple Certified Tech, but i can't find a not for profit school that has courses; Comunity Colleges etc. The only school that does certification is For Profit and doesn't accept any federal funding. And i have called Apple directly as well with the same question and they weren't able to help.

Any other way do you know of how to get Certification using Federal Funding/School Grant/GI Bill for Apple certification?

Thanks.

I am in a training now for customer care inbound tech support on iOS devices. The final exam, I have to pass it to get the job. Just looking for additional resources out there.

Apple keeps a pretty tight lid on the testing. The only resources I've used for my testing was provided directly from Apple, as noted before, and was all I needed. @harleyrex if you're doing your training for an AASP or other entity associated with Apple, you should have all the info you need.

To repair laptops you will need ACMT. To learn more about this cert visit this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205332 This certification is more of a gateway: proper customer INTERACTION, what PROCEDURES to follow, and what TOOLS to use. You will not really learn HOW to repair. You will have access to all repair materials and tools once you have access to GSX. In order to have access to GSX you need to work for an authorized repair shop or be a self-maintainer.

In regards to mac OS Certification the only thing out there is ACSP. Apple ended their ACTC server certificate with OS X 10.10.
