Apple charged me twice?!

So I got charged for Apple Care twice so far. One transaction was completed the other in pending...

Now if they are doing this on the Apple Care I'm hoping they don't do it for the iMac because I don't have enough funds in my account to do that.

What the hell are they doing? Has anyone else experianced this?
 
Just contact them. It happens occasionally at any company. Don't look for any conspiracies here.

I had the opposite problem. I bought a Dell server and they shipped 2 and only charged me for one.
(Yes I called them and informed them. Rather than paying for shipping to send it back, I suggested they make me an offer to keep it, they did and I got a backup server for a very low $)

Just do as he told you DevilsRejection, I am sure that Apple will gladly fix their mistake. :)

i have had this happen from apple before and the short version is the second charge disappears after a few days.... of course, i never wait for that to happen on its own. definitly call them
 
I tried calling them but their office is closed, I'll give them a ring on Monday after my exam.
 
Did you use your debit card? For some reason, businesses will do a pending charge, sometimes double, when you use a debit card for a large transaction. It will disappear after a day or so.

Of course, if you didn't use a debit card, call 'em!

That is tragic and I understand your pain.

We also have two Dell servers among over a hundred HP servers.

They are now two years old because we never bought Dell servers again. But they remain there and we are constantly afraid that somebody might buy another one.

What will happen if someone buys another one? That Dell will remember and double charge you this time to get back at you for their past mistakes?

What will happen if somebody buys another one? We would have three Dell servers.

That's 50% worse than our current situation.

I don't like Dell.
 
All is well! I called Apple and the hold is just a pre authorization, it will be released sometime this week. He apologized greatly for the inconvenience. I guess I’m satisfied, I mean this has happened to me before on Amazon and they gave me the same answer. You would think with the amount of dollars begin moved around digitally they would have a safety mechanism to stop this from happening.

Not too bad I suppose, just a slight inconvenience. I can’t wait to get this iMac!

When i bought my last dell, they sent me two sets of speakers instead of my monitor. After they got the monitor to me, they ended up just letting me have the extra speakers!!!
