Apple Cinema Display for 2009 iMac?

My late 2009 iMac continues to serve me well, so I'm not looking to upgrade it. Just need some more real-estate. Any reason why I shouldn't consider adding a 27" Apple Cinema Display, or would there be better options? I like the fact it would look cosmetically the same as my iMac and would also have the exact same resolution and PPI.
