Apple.com Shipping Times

I broke down and ordered an ipad yesterday off of the Apple Store online. The website said 7-10 days to ship, but when I got my order confirmation the shipping date was listed as August 9th and the delivery date was August 12th.

Has anyone else ordered from the website lately? Are their shipping times pretty accurate or is there a chance it might arrive earlier?

Since you ordered on a weekend, I'm guessing your order was processed fairly quickly and shipped out immediately on Monday.

It should arrive by the end of the week for you. Hopefully it will arrive on time.

I originally did the same thing and got the same ridiculous shipping times, I canceled the order and went down to the Apple store , they have a sign-up wait list. they called me 5 days later to say I could pick up my iPad.

So in 2 weeks it will ship. Which means the estimations are right.

Fantastic point. In my excitement I neglected to remember that we're talking business days here. That makes a lot more sense now. I'm going to go slap myself and try to wait patiently.
