Did you read the article?

It's about protecting your identity by providing multiple personas with fake info about you to confuse profilers.

Cute, but the side effects could get weird, depending on what profile data is faked.

For example, imagine how much it could screw up all those companies that sell reports on the latest popularity trends.

"This week Comscore reports that 75% of iPhone users shower with racoons. Analysts are puzzled!"

He didn't read the article. The original article even calls the patent an ANTI-Big Brother patent.

How the OP concluded that means Apple = Big Brother I have no clue

I'm more weirded out by the industry term "principal" that's assigned to whom we are.

The fact that term exists raises more questions about how the industry really works.

A little tongue in cheek & sarcasm sends you all spinning.

What? no sense of humor... I read it thought it was a bit humorous so I posted it.

I should have know better... there's little desire for reading anything outside of what's published here :)

Anything outside of the hallowed Apple eco-system is off limits... got it

My concern is that theyre tainting your alternate profiles so they can sell your actuall info at a premium.
