Apple Component AV Cable Length

my apple brand one is:

Dock connector to RCA ends and USB is 6 ft/1.8 meters
Dock connector to cable fork (where power/usb diverges from RCA) is 40 inches/1 meter
Cable fork to power/usb and RCA ends is 32 inches/0.8 meters

So your RCA in on your TV can be as much as 5 feet/1.5 meters from the power outlet and you can still put the ipod somewhere safe where it won't get stepped on.
