Has anyone else here been screwed when it comes to getting their computer from Apple? My iMac was supposed to be shipped within 24 hours of ordering it but now on my order says that it will be shipped by the 11th of December! I ordered it on the first of December but it will now not even be shipped until the 11th, so much for being shipped within 24 hours. It will be at my house on the 15th of December, it was supposed to be here on the 7th. I am really pissed off with them now as I needed it by the 10th.

I will be and I am going to let them know that I am not pleased with what has happened and I am considering canceling the order and just going to a shop that sells Mac's and buying one.
TBH unless you're looking at an upgraded spec or an education discount, I'd just go and buy from a store, much easier and probably a lot quicker too.
Sent them an e-mail and got a very nice reply from some lady explaining the situation and she said that she would try to get it shipped ASAP for me and guess what, it has now been shipped and will arrive tomorrow or the next day.
And I got it from the Apple store because they had a sale on and my local apple center didn't, I didn't want to spend too much as next year I will be getting a Mac Book Pro for uni.
EDIT: Does anyone know where I can get a 1Gb RAM chip for cheaper than Apples prices in Australia?
