Do apple desktop keywords and trackpads work well with iPad Pro’s ?

I’ve recently purchased a new iPad Pro 11” for my daughter as she starts high school. Along with the pencil I want to get her a keyboard and trackpad.

I looked into the magic keyboard specifically for the iPad and the folio touch. But I don’t foresee her needing to carry around a bulky case.

So I was wondering how well the desktop keyboards and trackpads work with the iPad Pro? Clearly they will stay on her desk at home and that’s fine. Just curious about support, usability and integration.

Anything I should know or consider. Is this a good option and does anyone else use this setup.

thanks!

When iPadOS 13.4 launched in the spring I used a Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard (not the case) to simulate the Magic Keyboard Case.

It worked very well for me and was about the closest thing I was going to get to the experience of the MKB before launch.
