This forum will soon need a car section.

It's an interesting read but there's still a lot of questions to answer like will it be called the iCar?

AppleWatch is the exception since they could not secure iWatch trademark/copyright throughout the world. i brand is still their go-to brand name.

Unless you look at other products like Apple Music, Apple TV, Photos, Maps, and a ton of other products that don’t have i in front of it. I think the last major product that they made that had i in front of it was iPad or possibly iBooks.

i Branding at best has been on the decline and certainly isn’t a go to brand name.

I branded is for individual user devices.
Multi users have either apple or Mac at the front. Since this is a car and many people can use/drive it in the family then it's going to be either an apple-car or a mac-car.

"The :apple:car will go twice as fast as any other car you've ever seen." it may even time-travel too.

The steering will be on the right side for others, left side for the regulars just to confuse people..

It will charge only to 85% most of the time before updates need to be done. Users with a future version of iOS will be able to easily jailbreak/remote control the :apple:car, and all doors will engage for "protection", escape.

Where did you pull that logic from?

iMac - multiple users
Apple Watch - single user

There's no pattern related to users. The Apple TV was originally iTV.

I do not believe any company is going to have a self driving car on the road before 2025.

Not logic, but knowledge of how they decided things.

iMac (orig SJ wanted it to be called MacMan) = the i in there was for internet AND individual, before using i apple used e (for eWorld). "iMac : The excitement of internet. The simplicity of Macintosh".
Computers in the starting age were called PC, why because it stands as PERSONAL (microcomputer designed for use by ONE person at a time) computer. The iBook came before the change to macbook as well.
appleTV they wanted it to be iTV, but legal issues they changed it and it was only one user at that time.

For personal devices like the iPod and iOS devices that came later the i was left to refer for just individual devices not for internet. Only ONE user system configuration.
The apple watch couldn't be called an iWatch due to other companies using it already.

As the way of naming of apple in 2015, the i is just for individual.

Of course there are exceptions and rules can be broken due to issues.
