Well the CAN dollar went from more or less 0.75$ US for many months to a pretty stable 0.79$/0.80$ US now. So why Apple does not decrease its iPad Pro Canadian price?
I know but how long does it take to not be considered short term?Pricing remains fixed and does not adjust with short term currency fluctuations. It's the same around the world.
It's usually when a new model is released, so, once a yearI know but how long does it take to not be considered short term?
Apple will only adjust pricing when it makes their bank account fatter, they'd never do it to benefit the customer.
That's simply not true; Apple's adjusted the price down before.
Their attitude has always been to pull as much out of your wallet as they can - what's changed?Doesn't mean they'd do it again. Apple has a new attitude.
Doesn't mean they'd do it again. Apple has a new attitude.
Then don’t buy it?I'm so pissed at Apple overcharging Canadians with 31% exchange rate even when the US dollar stay at are more or less $1,24 Canadian (so 24%), like today. The iPad Pro, for example, should sell for $990 Canadian dollar not $1 049. So they make huge profits from the exchange rate they apply on top of their "normal profit margin" which is also huge to begin with... That's $60 profit. For EACH device. from OVERCHARGING.
