Apple doesn't seem to promote Beats

Is it me or has Apple completely stopped promoting Beats headphones.

I'm not a fan of them, but I can't help to bring up the fact that Apple aquires companies only never to be heard from again.

Beats is not even featured on their website.

I have yet to see a Beats ad during the NBA /Playoffs Finals. I swore I usually see them during high profile sporting events.

Oh well.

They're posted in a small section on the bottom but I agree, almost completely ignored. http://www.apple.com/shop/accessories/all-accessories

They are called "Beats by Dr. Dre", probably another way of saying "we aren't putting our name on this."

Well Apple's not really promoting iPad Pro either. I see Surface commercials on TV all the time. Nothing for iPad. Hopefully this new ad guy will kick their advertising up a notch (and not just add more celebrities to the mix).

Must be true.
Apple probably HAD to keep the brand "Beats" alive for the headphones, but don't care at all and might be waiting for the time they may loose the name.
