as I'm going to be a completely new Apple customer this summer and I was wondering about the Driver Update Policy of Apple.
How is Apple updating their hardware drivers, if Apple does? Do I have to gather and install the drivers by myself?
Is Apple updating their drivers on a regular basis?
I have a Dell machine, it is a good machine, still works and performs well. But Dell takes care of drivers for about two or three monts after the release. After that I had to search and install updated drivers by myself because Dell doesn't really care then anymore.
