Just picked up the 2010 base model for $469 (was $599 yesterday). The upgraded processor model is $549 ($719 yesterday) and the server is $749 (formerly $849 I believe).

Good deal for anyone who doesn't need a i5/i7 processor or someone who wants to get a model with an optical drive.

I just picked up the 2.4 for 501 after tax but discover card gives 5 percent off so I paid 475.

This will give me choice I have the 2.66 2009 2x esata hack with about 20 months of apple care on it. (i can set it back to stock in 30 minutes) I have the 2010 2.4 refurb coming in. I need to figure what 2011 to buy. I will end up keeping 2 of the three.

Wow I would have totally hit that @ $469. Looks like the refurbs are all but gone now, only 2 SL Server models available @ $749.

Where can I find the previous generation of Mac Mini (new) for a decent price? A friend of mine wants one, but he needs the optical drive. Thanks.

Amazon, but if he wants a new one he isn't going to get it for cheaper than the 2011 baseline model.

If he has to have it new then he'd be better off getting a 2011 model and an external optical drive.

Man these things are flying off the Apple Refurb shelf, you blink and they are gone, I was about to buy a Refurb 13" MBP with the 2.4 and nVidia 320 for my wife and poof it was gone after the page refresh.

With the price of the new Refurb 2010 Mini's I would like to get 2 and replace my ATV's. I setup alerts for Refurbs but hopefully they get some more in stock soon.
