Recently trying to dl anything off itunes I am informed that my login id or password is incorrect.

Nothing has changed (computer, ipod etc) but I cannot log in.

When I try to retrieve password it says my ID is incorrect, when I try to retrieve my ID it says that apple has no recorrd of an account with that imformation.

what is going on? :mad:
 
Did you by chance use a gift card in iTunes that you purchased for a fraction of the cost you would normally pay?

Nope have never used a gift card at all, I changed nothing and suddenly I couldnt use the account anymore.
 
I'm having the same problem

I think Apple erased my account also. I tried signing into iTunes, after noticing an exact charge of $50.00 from the iTunes store in my bank account. I tried logging into iTunes, and my account didn't work. Also when I attempted to recover my password. My account seemed like it didn't exist. Awesome, short $50, and my account is messed up. (need the money for a traffic ticket).

I'm calling the financial services right now. To see what's up.
 
Finally got my issue resolved, somehow my apple ID was reverted to an old email I haven't used in years.
