I would simply be happy with software/hardware additions to allow me to punch my dual nvidia 7800GTX cards into my Mac Pro....

And a wide-screen iPod....

Here we go again... :D

The prospect of an iTunes Movie Store has me more excited than for many recent rumored Apple announcements. I just hope the quality is good.

You're behind the times. It's every week now ;)
Well the real comedy comes from the complaints about how "weak" or "lame" the updates are after spending a week betting what will happen. Nothing can live upto the hype that the Mac community generates every time an "event" is announced.

And then there are the "told ya so's" the day after. Yea, like anyone noticed the guy saying the iPhone would slip admist the cries out about Merom MacBooks and the TEN CORE MacPro with the ATI 1950 XT SUPER EDITION.

:)

Alright! Better start practicing.
"It costs too much"
"It's not high enough quality"
"Without features x,y,z it's usless to me"
"No one's going to buy that"
"I wanted product x and they didn't announce it, therefore the event sucks"
etc...

As I said right before WWDC, the right way to treat an Apple event is with pessimism. Be happy with what you get in the end. If you hope for anything specific, be it a particular new Mac or iPod you want, or a price point... you're bound to disappointed.

You forgot
"I want a CUBE"
"I want a prosumer desktop!"
"I want Merom Santa Rosa MacBook Pros with new enclosures"
"It's ONLY a 4" screen? Who wants to watch movies on a 4" screen!!??"

and a myriad of others.

The prosumer desktop with better graphics card would be my thing. :D Especially since I just sold my iMac Core Duo...

All we are going to get is itunes movies and a 23" imac. Might get high quality ipods with 80gb but I would doubt a large touch screen ipod although that is what I am waiting for.

"four crisscrossing Hollywood movie spotlight rays"

Movie spotlights? Well, THAT's pretty clear!

Finally an Intel subnotebook! :)

Someone post a scan of the invitation so we can all take it apart and try to read into it like we did the One More Thing invitation.
