I don't know if this has made the rounds yet, but apparently, there's the possability that Apple will be hit with some federal lawsuits concering how closely iTunes and the iPod are tied together...

This is actually the second suit over the same issue. The Slattery case from 2005 (now called Charoensak v Apple) is still kicking too.

The lawsuits are Federal because they are filed in Federal court. The plaintiffs are private parties, not the Federal Government.
