Hi all.
I have a late 2013 27” iMac currently has the original HDD and 8gb RAM, I have just ordered 32Gb RAM and already have a crucial P3 M.2 2280 Ssd blade, I placed the SSDblade into the slot using the adaptor recommended, Sintech NGFF M.2 but when I turned on the IMac I got nothing, no beep, no,screen nada, when I took it out it worked fine, so do I buy a Sata SSD 1tb for around £60 or do I buy a second hand Apple 1TB ssd blade which they sometimes shipped with the 27” models for the same price? Not really sure the best option considering They re roughly the same price.

Regards

Canada, eh!
Try reading through this thread,

There were some instances of what you experienced with the Crucial P3 drive. I was considering it but might go with a Western Digital or Samsung drive instead.
