This might not be a big deal to you guys but it means a lot to me. It all started when I called applecare because my ac adapter for my blackbook melted and I needed a new one, so the guy who was helping me said I can either send you one or I can call a Apple Store to set it up where you can just go pick it up. I hate going to the Apple Store on 5th Avenue because there is always a problem there and I live in NYC so the store is a damn tourist attraction and it's always packed. I decided to go pick it up since the guy said the most I would wait would be 15-30 minutes but when I get there I meet this ******** who thought he was the **** cause he was holding a Macbook air. I tell him my story and says there is no way we can help you today because we are full and he has an attitude.
Then he says do I have my serial # because they can't help me without it and I say that's bull because all you have to do is look up my information (ive been to the genius bar so many times where all they do is ask me for my information and for state id) because I have applecare and all I have to do is give you my ID. Then he stutters and says you are right but we have no open slots I don't why applecare told you to comedown here. So I call applecare again and speak to Gabriel and he says sorry for the inconvenience would like a free ipod shuffle or nano? I could not believe it because nobody has every offered me nothing for free before and that meant alot to me. Gabriel was very helpful and I got my ac adapter this morning because it was shipped overnight fed-ex. The other guy at the Apple store can kiss my ass!!!

That's an awesome story. Why is it that we hear multiple stories of Apple store employees having attitude problems?

I would've taken the Shuffle just because I the new one looks so cool. That was nice of them though!

I have a current gen shuffle and I'm pretty annoyed with it. I use mine when I run and the control function on the ear buds stopped working. I believe sweating into it is the problem.

I love it, but given that your earbuds are the only way to control it, you're out of luck if it stops working...

Anyways, enjoy the Nano!
