That doesn't quite work because you can get the iPhone free in the UK on a 2 year contract with a similar monthly payment to what you pay in the US.

Anyhow Im also patiently waiting for some more UK based info. Im not holding my breath for anything soon.

I tried asking for pricing and pre-order info on the online chat function in the store not really expecting to get anything.

They were completely useless though, they didn't just say we don't have that information at this time they started saying completely irrelevant things. I asked them when they planned to start pre-orders and they came back with thank you for your interest in the iPad why not take a look at the range of accessories we will be offering with the iPad.

Its just silliness matching silliness. Maybe this will help. It's really a cheezy U.S thing --- that only people 40 and older would likely understand. Ah, the golden age of TV (although this show was pre-historic even when I was a kid.)

Well we think it is under a month. All the guys waiting for Macbook Pro updates and you will find that a month might equal 6 months.

Well we think it is under a month. All the guys waiting for Macbook Pro updates and you will find that a month might equal 6 months.

Ah yes! But the only difference is, they haven't announced a new MacBook pro! Yet they have given a rough date for the iPad which if I remember correctly is the same date as the US! I would assume that if there are shortages they would of changed the dates on the websites as they hve done with other products, but this only my guess!!
