If you buy a new Mac in Turkey, you get a free copy of Vista.

I don't believe that's actually Apple.
Why in the hell would they do this...anyway...what a shame
Switchers and those who want to run Windows on their Mac. A package deal makes it easier.why would they advertise another companies offerings?
Is it even an Apple owned site? Notice how Turkey is not represented on Apple's international routing site: http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/intlstoreroutingpage.htmlHowever, it is listed under the Apple campaigns/promos tab, it is showcased on their front page of the Turkey site as well, why would they advertise another companies offerings?

Once again, this is not Apple's site.Aren't all Apple sites designed the same?
Or do some still have the old lay out(the one in that link vs Apple US's lay out)?
True, but it's still not Apple. It's not Apple themselves, but the IMC is Apple's exclusive official representative in that country. It's not just a random third-party dealer doing this. It's as official as Apple gets in Turkey.
How many potential customers do they have in Turkey anyway?
I'd say about just over 71 million.
Well thats the population of Turkey anyway, so why couldn't any Turk be a potential apple customer?
Better than charging for it, like every other company on the planet.Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/3A109a Safari/419.3)
Even with this not bwi g a move from Apple HQ it is still very sad to see this happening. Why would any Apple dealer want to give thief customers the world's worst OS?
