I don't believe that's actually Apple.

Why in the hell would they do this...anyway...what a shame:D

Not sure what the :apple: market share is in Turkey, but I would assume it's not much. Ship new iMacs with Boot Camp and Windows installed, people buy the computer since they are used to Windows (and still have lots of Win apps) but get gradually weaned over to the Mac side. Makes sense to me.

Aren't all Apple sites designed the same?

Or do some still have the old lay out(the one in that link vs Apple US's lay out)?

It's not Apple themselves, but the IMC is Apple's exclusive official representative in that country. It's not just a random third-party dealer doing this. It's as official as Apple gets in Turkey.

True, but it's still not Apple. ;)

This company's actions cannot be reliably used to predict Apple's acts in the US, or any other country in which Apple officially operates.

Even with this not bwi g a move from Apple HQ it is still very sad to see this happening. Why would any Apple dealer want to give thief customers the world's worst OS?

Better than charging for it, like every other company on the planet.
