Every WWDC21 promo image has a memoji wearing glasses — every single one of them. Besides, the glasses look pretty much like AR-enabled ones.

It's confirmed that Apple Glasses will be a reality sometime, and I don't believe that these promos are just a coincidence.

What do you folks think?

I’m more interested in the hearing-aid looking device visible in the right two Memojis. Part of the glasses or new AirPods?

Currently in Memoji setup, I can choose open ears, AirPods, or hearing aids (the same as shown above). Curious why a graduate would be wearing hearing aids.

Thanks. That was the result of a few encounters at the Apple Store where they always fall back to “restore from your iCloud backup”. Well, I don’t back up to iCloud. Make it E2E encrypted and that might change. I opt for encrypted iTunes backups as it’s more secure and more complete.

Anyway, any more news on glasses or new AirPods?

Although I do back up to iCloud, I totally agree with you regarding the need for the backups to be “truly” encrypted. No other news at the moment. Cheers!

They are recreating the image of opening a laptop and having the glow light their face. The image from the laptop is reflecting on their glasses. Nothing to do with AR glasses.
