The latest update with Leopard 10.5.2 which has just came out...

Anyone tested it with games on the Macbook 13.3" and see if they work better now?

so far im a little worried because my graphics seem worse after the upgrade... havent tried a reboot yet though...

Yes I was wondering if Halo or Battlefield 2142 works on the Macbook 13.3" now with this update.

I remember a site where they tested and showed how many FPS games where running at. Anyone know if this has any info? Or a link to that site?

Considering it isn't installed until the system is rebooted, I don't think you can blame the update.:apple:

Even, I strongly suggest to reboot twice when installing an upgrade or installing new system. It makes a whole lot of difference.

After rebooting twice is the system always working smoothly.

I'm playing battlefield2142 on a santa rosa MBP and ever since the graphics update i get all kinds of artifacts and screwed up graphics.. I spoke with apple and the only thing they advise is to reinstall leopard and install all updates without the graphics update and see if that's better.. ughhhhh I would just do a TM restore.. however it's got the update.. hmmmmm I wish there was a way to get the original graphics drivers back without a full reinstall

cant install Leopard Graphics Update

I cant even install this Leopard Graphics Update, in software update, its says it has downloaded, but when I try to install - its fails and says it cant verify it. After reading some of the problems listed here perhaps Im the lucky one ?
Either way Im here looking for information about my problem, which I cant find. Anyone seen any references to the update failing verification ?

Jedi Academy had been freezing ever since I upgraded to Leopard. It now runs properly since the graphics update.

Pirates Online disaster!

The upgrade has rendered Pirates of the Carribean unplayable on my Mac Pro. Not the end of the world for me , but my kids are pretty bummed.

I do not want to reinstall.

I'm getting the same problem with BF2142...tons of graphical glitches.

Doesn't the update tell you to reboot? If it did, you can't be worried since you didn't follow the steps.

When we upgraded ours, it went outside the OS (limbo blue screen) did the update, then reboot, so if you didn't do that, you didn't install the update.

I have rebooted several times to no avail. The update has done everything but improve my graphics.

Waiting for version 1.1

Hurry up, Apple. Please fix whatever you messed up! Obviously there are issues with more than one game that did not exist before the 1.0 "update."
