Hello,
I want to buy a 2015 15" MacBook Pro and I found a good offer on a model manufactured in 2018 (so not even 2 years old). The only issue is that this MacBook was purchased in Switzerland and I live in Italy.
The keyboard layout is not an issue (the only layout that I like is the US one), but I'd like to know how Apple would behave if I needed/wanted hardware support.
For instance, if the battery drops below 80% and I ask Apple to replace it (paying, obviously), will they do that, considering that the keyboard layout is different?
How can I ask this directly to Apple? (I don't have any Apple product at the moment, I just sold my previous MacBook).
Thanks

It's not a problem.
I bought an ipad in Canada and had it repaired in France with no fuss.
It's an international warrantee.
As far as the keyboard is concerned, you can order any keyboard you want in any country too you just have to wait a bit longer for it.
As long as the purchase was legitimate and there's no report it's stolen, then they will repair it wherever you are have no fear.
And if you ever do buy one with Apple care, that's also transferable between countries too.

Thank you!
So if I'll ever have to replace the battery (and so keyboard as well) I can just ask them to put a top case with an italian one? That's nice to hear. I'm only talking about out of warranty repairs though.
