Apple hardware test in Lion GM?

Hi

Does anyone know how to run the Apple Hardware Test in Lion GM? Normally would use install disk, but obviously there isnt one.

Since there aren't any computers that have 10.7 preinstalled (at the time of this posting), you would have to use the original install discs that came with the computer you have 10.7 installed on (hint: they have gray labels). See Intel-based Macs: Using Apple Hardware Test for more info.

Hardware test isn't OS dependent (it tests the hardware don't you know ), so new machines should come with a hardware test just like normal, possibly even a Lion restore DVD in case your machine is unrecoverable.

The Lion GM doesn't come with a hardware test boot. In fact, no retail Mac OS X install disc ever has. You must use the Applications DVD that came with your Mac, or in the case of a MacBook Air, boot into the AHT partition.
