Buttery Smooth UI goodness

Yeah that's right, the smooth drag to select window is back!! Gone is the horrible choppiness and stuttering that has plagued us (or at least me) on the desktops of various Macs since the olden days of OS X 10.10. Apple is saved. Tim Cook is redeemed.

I never saw this gone. The Finder is slow though. Sometimes there is choppiness dragging the files and a delay when navigating folders with keyboard.

It's rather worrying that some have good experiences and others not so. buggy software for sure.

Well it's the first release, Apple has a long track record of buggy OSes until they've shipped out a .1 or even .2 update. I just dual-booted for fun to try it out and Screen Time started locking me out of apps and demanding a passcode even though I never set one so it's not quite ready for prime time for me at least ;). Just thought I'd share one new positive thing though!

All the OS upgrades I've used (El Cap, Low Sierra, Mojave) have been fine.
Nothing new in Catalina in that regard.
