Like the title says Apple has had my computer since 1/7, and cant fix it because they are waiting on parts. Computer is a MBP MAX

This is the problem it had that caused me to send it in:

1/7 computer stopped working, told by apple to bring it to unite since local stores were closed.
1/10 unitek sent out computer to apple. Was supposed to go out on 1/7 but they said apples system was down.
1/16 Spoke to apple said I had to wait on the repair department
1/18 Spoke to 3 people at apple said I had to wait another week because they are missing a part
1/25 Im calling them back now. Im asking they send me a new non-refebished machine.

I'm having a defective left speaker. It crackles and it made weird sounds like it's broken. But sometimes it's gone like right now. Tried safe mode etc too. Sadly, i need to use the laptop for 6 months straight and the ETA is about 2 weeks to repair. So yeah. Bad timing.

Gonna try to send it 6 months in the future. Hopefully they will exchange the speaker with the new one. I saw that to replace the speaker. They need to take out the board and battery to be able to pry the speaker assembly.

I'm just worried since if something happens and say the board broke when they take it out. They will exchange it but it could be a refurbished board. And who knows how many problems I'm gonna get in the future.

Im also worried on how to make them just replace it since the speaker problem doesn't happen all the time. Like some days it happens for days. Then like now it's been 3 days there hasn't been any issues.

I have videos though proving it. But I don't have experience with Apple fixing things so idk what to expect

Got a random call today that I was not expecting my computer is back and fixed. They replaced the Logic Board.
I'm glad you got it back. I would have been beyond horrified having no computer for that long. I guess these supply chain issues are really a problem.

I've never had issues in the past personally with Apple support. Always been quick.
