I spent a while on the phone today to Apple and the MHRA and it finally paid off. The women I spoke to was at the first level of customer service and she hadn’t got a clue what I was talking about but she escalated it.

The MHRA have been telling people who call or email that they haven’t received an application for the use of AirPod Pro 2s as hearing aids and it turns out that it is totally wrong.

I wrote to Tim Cook a couple of weeks ago about the poor rollout of the AirPod Pro 2s in the UK. He passed my email to the Vice President of Apple Health who replied that they would make changes in the Apple Stores so that they give the proper advice.

Fast forward to today and I emailed him back about the information from the MHRA and he sent me a copy of the document showing that Apple HAVE applied for it.

I now have high hopes that things will happen soon regarding MHRA approval in the UK. It's been quite a fruitful day as so many were contacting the MHRA and getting wrong information.
